The spray tower is also known as the scrubber tower. It is a type of waste gas treatment equipment and is quite common in the application of waste gas treatment processes. It is widely used in waste gas treatment environmental protection projects. So, how should the spray tower be maintained and serviced during its daily use? Let's take a look:

I. Daily Use of the Spray Tower

The structure of the spray tower consists of the tower body, circulating water pump, circulating water tank, etc. During the installation process, only the ventilation pipes and fans need to be connected properly. After the debugging is completed, it can operate normally. In daily use, simply turn on the switches of the fan and pump to use it normally.

II. Regular Inspection of the Spray Tower

During use, the following items of the spray tower should be checked regularly:

Is there any severe dirt or debris on the appearance of the equipment?

2. Has any blockage occurred in the packing balls and spray layers of the spray tower?

3. Is the circulating water pump operating normally?

4. Is there any blockage in the circulating water tank?

5. Is the sediment at the bottom of the spray tower too thick?

6. During the operation of the spray tower, are there any loose components or abnormal noises?

Regularly check and record the above inspection items. In case of any problems, they should be repaired and maintained in the following manner.

III. Daily Maintenance of the Spray Tower

1. Regularly clean the surfaces of the spray tower, the water pump, the fans and the pipes to prevent debris from accumulating.

2. If it is found that the packing balls and the spray layer of the spray tower are clogged, it is recommended to first close the water supply ball valve of the spray layer and increase the water pressure of the circulating pump to another spray layer. Also, clean the nozzles and packing balls. After eliminating the clogging phenomenon, switch to another spray layer for cleaning and maintenance. If the clogging is severe to the extent that it cannot be flushed by its own water pressure, the blocked spiral nozzles can be replaced.

3. If the spray tower pump is running idle or making abnormal noises, it should be shut down for maintenance inspection. The idle running of the pump is usually caused by the water level in the water tank being too low. The inlet ball valve should be opened to replenish the circulating water. If there is abnormal noise or looseness, the specific cause should be identified and repaired in time. After restoration, it can work normally.

4. Open the cover of the circulating water tank and inspect the multiple filter plates inside the tank. If you find a lot of dirt and clogged mesh holes, remove them, wash them clean with a brush, and then put them back into the spray tower. For extremely severe blockages, cleaning with warm water or adding chemical agents should be performed.

5. The sediment at the bottom of the spray tower should be cleaned regularly. The wastewater in the spray tower should be drained promptly. Open the transparent inspection hole, and the staff can enter the tower to use tools to clean the sediment inside. Then, rinse the bottom and walls of the tower with clean water. If the stains in the tower and the circulating water tank are severe, corresponding chemical agents should be used for cleaning.

6. If during the operation of the spray tower, there are loose components or abnormal noises, the cause should be identified promptly, and the necessary reinforcement or replacement of corresponding components should be carried out in a timely manner.
