The treatment of exhaust gases should vary depending on the specific type of exhaust gas. The design needs to be based on the characteristics of the gas. What are the key points of different gas treatment methods? The following are a series of materials collected by Guangdong Donghong Environmental Industrial Exhaust Gas Treatment Factory for your reference:

I. Treatment of toxic exhaust gases:

When the workers are dealing with toxic gases, they must wear protective equipment such as gas masks and gloves that are not related to the handling task. They are strictly prohibited from entering the area where the toxic gases are being handled.

2. If a small amount of toxic gases are directly discharged into the atmosphere, prior approval from relevant authorities is necessary. The discharge should be carried out as far away as possible, and the concentration at the outlet should be diluted to below the permitted emission level.

3. The adsorbents and adsorbent materials used for handling toxic gases can only be provided after their effectiveness has been confirmed.

II. Treatment of Exhaust Gases from Flammable Gases:

For the emission of flammable gases, if the emission is significant, one should choose a place with fewer people, pay attention to fire prevention around, and be equipped with appropriate fire extinguishers, sand and water.

2. When discharging flammable gas from the cylinder, the staff should operate on the side of the exhaust outlet to prevent the gas from spraying out and injuring people.

3. When using the combustion method, a pressure reducing valve should be installed to control the speed of the gas release, ensuring that the gas is released as slowly as possible and fully combusted within the combustion device.

III. Treatment of Combustion Exhaust Gases:

The powders, petroleum, oils and flammable substances adhering to the containers or valve parts of the equipment can only be treated with gas after the bottom has been cleaned.

2. It is strictly prohibited to store oxidizing gases and flammable gases in the same area or nearby, to prevent explosion accidents.

3. For the gas supply system, there should be no open flames, no combustible materials, and no explosive materials in the surrounding area.

IV. Treatment of inert gases:

Inert gases are not dangerous, but at high concentrations, they can reduce the oxygen content in the surrounding environment, leading to suffocation.

Discharge in an appropriate outdoor location.

2. If the cylinders or instruments are located indoors, connect the exhaust pipe and lead it outdoors to allow the exhaust to be discharged slowly.

V. Methods for Treating Exhaust Gases Containing Particulate Dust

This gas usually needs to undergo pre-treatment in a spray tower to remove the particulate dust from the exhaust gas, and then it will be processed through UV photolysis or activated carbon adsorption chambers.

VI. Methods for Treating High-Temperature Exhaust Gases

This kind of exhaust gas needs to be cooled first. The temperature of the exhaust gas must be controlled within a certain range before it can be processed.
