The pulse bag dust collector is a new type of pulse bag dust collector that has been improved based on the traditional bag dust collector. In order to further enhance the performance of the pulse bag dust collector, the modified one retains the advantages of high purification efficiency, large gas processing capacity, stable performance, convenient operation, long filter bag lifespan, and low maintenance workload.

Moreover, through structural and pulse valve reforms, the problems of open-air placement and low pressure of the compressed air source were solved.

Working principle of the pulse bag dust collector

The pulse bag filter consists of a dust collection chamber, an upper box, a middle box and a lower box. The upper, middle and lower boxes are of a compartmental structure. During operation, the dusty gas enters the dust collection chamber through the air inlet duct. Coarse dust particles directly fall to the bottom of the dust collection chamber, while fine dust particles are deflected upward along with the gas and enter the middle and lower boxes. The dust adheres to the outer surface of the filter bags. The filtered gas then enters the upper box and is collected in the clean gas manifold - exhaust duct, which is then discharged to the atmosphere through the exhaust fan. The cleaning process involves first cutting off the clean gas outlet duct of this chamber to make the filter bags in this chamber free from airflow (stop-flow cleaning of compartments). Then, the pulse valve is opened to use compressed air for pulse blowing to clean the filter bags. The time when the cutting-off valve is closed should ensure that the dust stripped from the filter bags settles in the dust collection chamber after the pulse blowing, avoiding the phenomenon where the dust adheres to the surface of adjacent filter bags again after detaching from the surface of the filter bags. This ensures thorough cleaning of the filter bags and the automatic control of the exhaust valve, pulse valve and ash discharge valve by the programmable control instrument.

Characteristics of Pulse Bag Dust Collector

The pulse bag dust collector adopts the technology of staged-off-air pulse jet cleaning, which overcomes the shortcomings of conventional pulse dust collectors and staged-back-blowing dust collectors. It has strong cleaning capacity, high dust removal efficiency, low emission concentration, low leakage rate, low energy consumption, low steel consumption, small floor area, stable operation and good economic benefits. It is suitable for the purification of dust-containing gases and the recovery of materials in industries such as metallurgy, building materials, cement, machinery, chemical engineering, power, and light industry.

2. Due to the use of staged air-stop pulse blowing for cleaning, one blowing operation can achieve the cleaning purpose. Therefore, the cleaning cycle is prolonged, reducing the cleaning energy consumption and significantly lowering the air consumption. At the same time, the fatigue degree of the filter bags and the pulse valves is also reduced accordingly, thereby doubling the lifespan of the filter bags and valve plates.

3. Bag replacement during maintenance can be carried out in separate chambers while the system's fan is not running and the system is operating normally. The bag openings are equipped with elastic expansion rings, ensuring good sealing performance. The filter bag ribs are in a multi-angled shape, reducing the friction between the bag and the ribs, prolonging the bag's lifespan and facilitating bag removal.

4. The upper bag extraction method is adopted. During bag replacement, after the frame is extracted, the dirty bag is placed in the lower ash hopper of the box and then removed through the manhole, which improves the operational conditions for bag replacement.

5. The box body is designed with an airtight structure, ensuring excellent sealing performance. The inspection door is made of high-quality sealing materials. During the manufacturing process, coal oil is used for leak detection, resulting in a very low air leakage rate.

6. The inlet and outlet air ducts are arranged closely together, resulting in low air resistance.
